We are seeking a Junior Civil Engineering Technologist to join our Engineering Design Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and drawing detailed design drawings, executing design calculations for sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and watermain, and assisting with the preparation of technical memorandums, letters, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draw detailed design drawings
  • Execute design calculations for sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and watermain
  • Assist with the preparation of technical memorandums, letters, and reports
  • Develop design/construction documents and specifications
  • Attend and participate in client/team progress meetings, including preparation of meeting records

Requirements:

  • Experience with MS Office
  • Experience with Civil3D
  • Microstation experience would be considered an asset
  • 1 or more years of experience in Consulting would be considered an asset
  • Positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • OACETT membership/eligibility would be considered an asset
