About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic employee-owned company, in a professional working environment that's quality-driven and client-focused. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll work closely with Business Lead and Managers, Project Directors, and the engineering group to deliver civil design solutions for linear infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate all aspects of civil design, including design development and verification.
- Work closely with the engineering group to facilitate decision-making related to civil design.
- Ensure client requirements, specifications, and standards are integrated into the project.
- Mentor and develop junior staff.
- Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, along with sound professional judgment.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a recognized college or university.
- Professional Engineering (P. Eng) license with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
- Minimum of 10 years of extensive technical design experience.
- Demonstrable experience in civil design delivery for larger, multi-discipline projects with a focus on linear infrastructure.
- Detailed understanding of local Agency (or equivalent) Codes and Standards.
- Experience working in an integrated 3D environment.
- Team building and mentoring skills.
