Join Our Team as a Junior Civil Engineering Technologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineering Technologist to join our Engineering Design Organization in Waterloo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and drawing detailed design drawings, executing design calculations, and assisting with the preparation of technical memoranda, letters, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and draw detailed design drawings
  • Execute design calculations for sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and watermain
  • Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, letters, and reports
  • Develop design/construction documents and specifications
  • Attend and participate in client/team progress meetings, including preparation of meeting records
Requirements:
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Experience with Civil3D
  • Microstation experience considered an asset
  • 1 or more years of experience in Consulting considered an asset
  • Positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • OACETT membership/eligibility considered an asset
