About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at STEFANO'S INC. as a key member of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management
    • Plan and execute transportation routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
    • Coordinate with dispatch to receive and relay information
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
    • Oversee maintenance and repair of vehicle, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
  • Cargo Handling
    • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
    • Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected during transport
  • Logistics and Administration
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
    • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • AZ class license
  • Experience and Skills
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a long-haul truck driver
    • Valid driver's license
    • Willingness to travel cross-border
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluent in English
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
  • Long-haul trucking, including overnight stays
