About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at STEFANO'S INC. as a key member of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics and Planning
    • Coordinate travel itineraries and make reservations for safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Vehicle Operations
    • Drive a tractor-trailer A train as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring timely delivery of cargo.
    • Load and unload goods, taking care to secure cargo for safe transportation.
    • Obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes.
    • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
    • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
    • Prepare and submit reports, including accident or incident reports, driver logbooks, and maintenance records.
  • Transportation and Safety
    • Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to company policies and regulations.
    • Operate a tractor-trailer A train in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Hold a valid AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
  • Work Environment
    • Work a standard 40-hour week, with opportunities for overtime.
    • Be willing to travel cross-border and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
