Elevator Maintenance Technician

- At Abco Elevator Inc, we are seeking a skilled Elevator Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with experience in installing, testing, and adjusting safety control devices. The successful candidate will also be responsible for instructing apprentices and maintaining log books that detail all repairs and checks performed.
- The Elevator Maintenance Technician will work closely with our team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our elevator systems. This includes performing preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems failures, and carrying out safety and security checks.
- The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of physical demands and work conditions, including handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and bending, crouching, and kneeling. They will also be required to work overtime as needed.
