As a Banquets Manager at Marriott International, you will be responsible for directing and motivating a team to provide exceptional service to our guests. You will oversee the financial and administrative aspects of banquet operations, ensuring that all events are executed with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage departmental inventories and maintain equipment to ensure seamless event execution.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
• Conduct regular meetings with the banquet team to discuss goals, progress, and areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
