Banquet Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to join our team at GWALIA CATERING AND BANQUETS - CALGARY. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for planning and executing seamless events that exceed our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate daily operations to ensure smooth event execution
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Conduct performance reviews to maintain high standards
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient event setup
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Negotiate with clients to provide exceptional catering and event services
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
  • Manage events from start to finish, including planning, coordination, and execution
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position with 30-35 hours of work per week
  • Fluency in English
