About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer, Sustainability and Risk will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the company's financial strategy, including treasury operations, risk management, and pension asset management. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that the company's financial plans align with its sustainability goals and values.

The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness benefits, a defined contribution pension plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Treasury Operations: Develop and implement effective treasury operations, including cash pooling, working capital management, external funding, and foreign exchange trading.
  2. Risk Management: Lead the design and oversight of financial risk management, including strategic policy development, risk measurement and tolerance methodology, and control framework.
  3. Pension Asset Management: Advise on funding matters and provide leadership in the investment of pension assets, including managing relationships with outsourced chief investment officers.
Requirements
  • Candidate must have a CA or CPA designation and several years of experience in finance leadership roles.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of treasury operations, risk management, and pension asset management.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities, with the ability to develop close working relationships with business partners.
  • Experience managing a team of professionals and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
