Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

The Labrador Inn is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in our food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and client focus skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Work Environment:

The Labrador Inn is a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a hotel, motel, or resort setting with a team of food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
