Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Assembly Supervisor to join our team at Mahek Restaurant and Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure accurate ordering and minimize waste.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to meet our high standards.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
  • Supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime.
Work Environment

As a Food Assembly Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure to meet customer demands. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic team environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing demands.
Language and Work Term

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The primary language of work is English.
