Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, and select candidates for job openings
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on human resources policies and procedures
  • Administer employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and time-off programs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to employees
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement training programs
  • Stay up-to-date with changing employment laws and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
