Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented individual to join our kitchen team at Cheryl's Country Kitchen as a Kitchen Assistant. This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with repetitive tasks and working under pressure. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Requirements- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- English language proficiency.
