We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented individual to join our kitchen team at Cheryl's Country Kitchen. As a kitchen helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
As a kitchen helper, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with the ability to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks. You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
- Reliability and a team-oriented approach are essential for this role.
- English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Hours of work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
