Caregiver Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Nurse Next Door. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for creating Happier Aging experiences and client-focused care in home and community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver on our Brand Promise by owning the client's experience and ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, and more.
- Meet safety standards and use equipment safely and accurately.
- Provide premium care approach to clients and their family members.
- Respond to Care Services Center (CSC) Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed-upon timeline.
- Review the care plan prior to beginning a visit, complete records accurately, and carry out all assignments as requested.
- Engage in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client's experience and care are identified.
- Update availability and time off requests (as per stated expectations) with HR/CD to ensure continuity of care for your client.
- Two positive professional references.
- Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment).
- Negative TB test (updated every 5 years for continued employment).
- Proof of health care certification.
- Ability to travel independently to client visits.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal at a high school graduate level.
