About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as Director, Diversity, Inclusion and Community. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our diversity, inclusion, and community initiatives across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to advance our social impact goals
  • Lead the development and execution of community programs and initiatives that align with our company's values and mission
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and achieve our diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise on diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices and trends
Requirements
  • Post-graduate education and/or authoritatively accredited designation(s) an asset
  • Demonstrated experience of 5 years in retail merchandising, strategy, marketing, business development and/or business management - specifically, with responsibilities over P&L required
  • A self-motivated leader with an ambitious approach and a passion for category management
  • Analytical approach to decision making - using data to derive business insights that lead to practical strategies and favorable financial outcomes
