We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our Medical Float Team on a temporary, part-time basis. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will possess current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, a valid B.C.L.S., and experience in a medical/surgical unit. They will also demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct assessments, administer medications, and perform various nursing procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Valid B.C.L.S.
- Experience in a medical/surgical unit (an asset)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
