Job Opportunity

Collingwood General and Marine Hospital is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join our team in the Surgical department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with the healthcare team, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and health promotion
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development

Requirements

  • Current Certificate of Registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Coronary Care 1 certification an asset
  • One year of applicable nursing experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service demeanor
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Dedication to professional growth and development
