Job Title: Welder

EP INDUSTRIES LTD. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. The ability to sit and stand for extended periods is required.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a client-focused attitude.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and punctuality.
