Job Title: Welder Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at EP INDUSTRIES LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Computer-aided design (CAD).
• Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• Determine weldability of materials.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.

Requirements:

• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Fast-paced environment.
• Repetitive tasks.
• Handling heavy loads.
• Physically demanding.
• Manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail.
• Hand-eye co-ordination.
• Sitting.
• Standing for extended periods.
