Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is a key member of our sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve quarterly sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the field sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and to ensure seamless coordination between inside and field sales activities.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of customer needs and requirements to identify potential opportunities for Viega products and services.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and opportunities, including customer contact information, sales pipeline, and sales performance metrics.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned to support overall sales objectives and organizational goals.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in sales software and tools, including CRM systems and sales analytics platforms.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proficient in business mathematics and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

  • 2-4 years related customer service and sales experience.

Total Rewards Package

  • Base: $42,169 to $60,881 CAD annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
  • Bonus or Commission: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
