Job Summary: At PB10 Construction & Landscaping, we are seeking a skilled Landscape Worksite Director to oversee our gardening operations. The successful candidate will have experience in supervising staff, organizing planting, and managing work schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, Supervise and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of gardening professionals, ensuring they are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Organize Planting: Plan and coordinate the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and efficient use of resources.
  • Manage Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects and optimal resource allocation.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Develop and implement plans for labour and materials, ensuring accurate estimates and cost control.
  • Plan, Manage and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the planning, management, and supervision of landscape construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and logs of work completed, including materials used and staff performance.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment and Supplies: Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support gardening operations.

Support for Indigenous People: PB10 Construction & Landscaping is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusivity. As a Landscape Worksite Director, you will be responsible for providing cultural competency training to staff, ensuring they are equipped to support Indigenous workers.

Visible Minorities Support: PB10 Construction & Landscaping is committed to creating a welcoming work environment for visible minorities. As a Landscape Worksite Director, you will be responsible for offering mentorship programs to pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees, providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Work Term: This is a permanent position with a regular full-time schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week.
