Network Administration Assistant

Freedom Graphic Systems, Inc. is a leading direct mail marketing provider in the United States, investing in innovative ideas and technology to drive success. We're seeking a skilled Network Administration Assistant to join our Information Services Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support network administration, including endpoint backups, access control, user and endpoint administration, email and internet access, peripheral systems, and applications support
  • Administer hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources
  • Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test, and implement solutions
  • Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related devices
  • Develop and conduct training for system users on operating systems and other applications
  • Monitor network and system performance for availability and performance issues
  • Perform network and system maintenance programs
  • Deploy and configure network hardware and software per change management standards
  • Document network problems and resolutions for knowledgebase
  • Participate in on-call rotation with Network Administrators

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows server and desktop environment
  • Ability to support network peripheral devices
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently
  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network

Work Environment:

As a key member of our Information Services Department, you will work closely with the Director of Information Technology, Senior Network Administrators, other IT staff, and end-users to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.
