Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our team in Beaverlodge. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy services to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist II will be responsible for coordinating occupational therapy and other allied health clinical services within a program or service area. This includes providing supervision to students and team members, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, and making day-to-day clinical decisions on patient/family needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate occupational therapy services and other allied health clinical services within a program or service area
  • Provide supervision to students and team members
  • Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Make day-to-day clinical decisions on patient/family needs
  • Ensure occupational therapy practice is evidence-based and in alignment with Alberta legislation and regulations, professional standards of practice, code of ethics, and AHS policy and guidelines
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. You must also be active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
