Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Eddie Bauer, Inc. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in building a high-performing team that delivers exceptional customer experiences and drives business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Development: Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans to achieve business objectives and grow the store's sales and profitability.
  • Customer Experience: Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty, utilizing company tools and strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Store Operations: Oversee assigned areas of responsibility, ensuring store standards for merchandising, visual presentation, and operational excellence are consistently met.
  • Team Management: Develop and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching and feedback to ensure team members are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Business Acumen: Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, making recommendations to the Store Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with the Store Manager, other store leaders, and corporate teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans and initiatives.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Co/Assistant Manager in a similar volume, apparel business (preferred).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
  • Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.
  • May require occasional travel to other store locations (if needed).
