Job Description

Role Overview:

The Finance Project Controller will play a key role in driving optimal performance by partnering with Business Unit leadership and Operations team. This position will be responsible for assisting in the effective management of projects, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and delivering best practices and Project Management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and transfer knowledge on project financials to Lin Manager and Project Manager.
  • Manage collection and dispute management processes and collaborate with project stakeholders, including the Legal Department.
  • Continuously monitor and improve processes for project reporting, administration, and control.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to train colleagues.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Accounting and their objectives.
  • Maintain/update project reporting information using Power BI tools.
  • Monitor receivables, follow up on collections, and update Collections Module to help forecast timing of invoicing and estimated collection dates.
  • Participate in monthly project reviews on major projects to ensure the Project is accurately reporting financials each month and gain an understanding of key concerns the project delivery team has.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or Arcadis.
  • Ensure familiarity and compliance with Healthy and Safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Relevant accounting degree.
  • Post-graduate qualifications an advantage (CPA/CA/CIMA).
  • Demonstrated technical, commercial, and delivery acumen.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
  • The ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.
