Job Title: Glass Installer

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Glass Installer to join our team. As a Glass Installer, you will be responsible for installing glass products, including windows, doors, and other glass structures, in various commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door and window hardware, including handles and hinges
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, ensuring safety and functionality
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in glass installation and fabrication
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Working Conditions:
  • Commercial and industrial settings, including construction sites and warehouses
  • Variable work schedules, including overtime and weekends
  • Exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental hazards
