Job Title: Glass Installer

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installer to join our team at Flynn Canada Ltd. As a Glass Installer, you will be responsible for installing glass and other materials in various settings, including commercial and industrial locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to fit specific requirements
  • Position and secure panes in frames
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in glass installation
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
  • Physically demanding work requiring handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling
Working Conditions:

The work environment is physically demanding, with frequent exposure to heights, outdoor conditions, and heavy loads. The ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively is essential.
