Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Kids and Company. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 0-5 years.
  • Lead activities that promote learning, creativity, and socialization through storytelling, songs, and educational outings.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by following licensing regulations and best practices.
  • Establish positive relationships with parents, guardians, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Observe and record children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for support.
  • Certify in First Aid and CPR, as well as maintain current certifications in Early Childhood Education.

Requirements:

  • College diploma or CEGEP certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to manage a fast-paced environment and engage in activities with children.
