Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Ensure Quality and Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that adequate coverage is maintained at all times.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and a strong commitment to customer service and quality.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. You will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, but you will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
