About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer - Prince George. As a Radiation Oncologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality cancer care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in research and education activities to improve cancer care and outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of cancer care policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia
  • Fellowship in Radiation Oncology from the RCPSC or equivalent qualification
  • Appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer and University Hospital of British Columbia
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada
  • Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting indigenous communities
