We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Physician in Radiation Oncology to join our team at BC Cancer-Prince George. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and contributing to the development of academic excellence in a provincial cancer care environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Conduct research in radiation oncology, including clinical trials and outcomes-based research
- Participate in the development of academic excellence in radiation oncology, including education and training of residents and fellows
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care
- Document patient care and research activities in accordance with organizational standards and policies
- Medical degree and a minimum of 2 years of accredited postgraduate training in Radiology, General Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and/or hospital-based care
- Successful completion of Part 1 of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE1) or Step 1 through 3 of the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLEs)
- Meet the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) English language proficiency requirements
- Eligible for registration with the CPSBC in the Associate Physician Class
- Canadian Citizenship, permanent resident, or legally able to live and work in British Columbia
