About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Physician in Radiation Oncology to join our team at BC Cancer-Prince George. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the development of academic excellence in a provincial cancer care environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in research and academic activities, including clinical trials and outcome-based research
  • Contribute to the development of educational programs and materials for patients and healthcare professionals
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating and collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals
Requirements
  • Medical degree and a minimum of 2 years of accredited postgraduate training in Radiology, General Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and/or hospital-based care
  • Successful completion of Part 1 of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE1) or Step 1 through 3 of the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLEs)
  • Meet the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) English language proficiency requirements
  • Eligible for registration with the CPSBC in the Associate Physician Class
  • Canadian Citizenship, permanent resident status, or legally able to live and work in British Columbia
