A&W Restaurants Inc. is a leading fast-food chain with a strong presence in British Columbia and the Yukon Territories. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality customer service and adherence to company standards.
- Manage the development and implementation of business strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing coaching and training to ensure excellent performance.
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to maintain profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Manage conflicts and complaints, implementing effective service recovery programs.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership and management experience in the food service industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach employees.
- Expertise in restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor control, and customer service.
- Knowledge of business development principles and marketing strategies.
- Ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions.
Preferred Skills:
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to give presentations and build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
Working Conditions:
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Some heavy lifting.
