About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Systems Tester to join our team at Maarut Inc. As a key member of our testing group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled tester with a strong background in Agile methodologies, system testing, and automation. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining automated tests for our web applications and services developed in Java or MS .Net.

Your expertise in defect management systems, DB2 database testing, and mainframe testing will enable you to ensure data integrity and performance across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute system and user acceptance tests using various testing methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and other tools.
  • Analyze business requirements and system response documents to ensure the system meets business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Provide recommendations to the Project Manager on the acceptance or rejection of changed system components.
Requirements:Must Haves:
  • Over 10 years of recent experience working in Agile environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of system testing methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience testing web applications and web services developed in Java or MS .Net.
  • Experience with defect management systems, DB2 database testing, and mainframe testing.
  • Proficiency in using automated testing tools like Selenium.
Desirable Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and interpret business requirements.
  • Experience with Cloud environments, Virtual Machine Services (VMS), and WCAG 2.1 standards.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
  • Skill in using test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or MS Azure Test Plans.
What We Offer:

Maarut Inc offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
