Job Overview

We are seeking an Early Childhood Support Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our childcare center, you will work closely with early childhood educators to carry out programs that promote the growth and well-being of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist co-workers in maintaining a clean and safe environment, including housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Maintain daycare equipment to ensure its proper functioning
  • Engage children in various activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Guide and assist children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems
Certifications and Qualifications
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • CPR Certificate
  • Immunization records and tuberculosis test results
  • Vulnerable sector check
Work Environment
  • Child care center setting
  • 40 hours per week
