Food Service Director

CRAFTED1885 is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee the daily operations of our food service department.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and train a team of food service staff to ensure excellent service delivery and maintenance of high standards.
- Operations Management: Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to meet quality control standards.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their complaints or concerns are addressed promptly.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Budgeting: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for the food service department.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Physically demanding job.
- Work under pressure.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English.
