**Job Summary**

The Clerk II - Rehabilitation Services Coordinator provides administrative support to the Rehabilitation Program at Southern Health-Santé Sud. This role requires a versatile and mature individual who can demonstrate knowledge and skills in general office procedures while communicating effectively with people.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide clerical support and reception services for the Rehabilitation Program
  • Exercise initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities and methods
  • Communicate effectively with management and staff within the region and outside vendors and agencies
  • Build and maintain professional working relationships
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Respect and promote a culturally diverse population
  • Meet the physical and mental demands of the job
  • Respect confidentiality in paper, electronic, and other formats

**Requirements**

  • Grade twelve (12) education or equivalent
  • Completion of an Administrative/Office training program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Outlook/Email
  • One (1) year previous experience working in an office environment
  • Previous experience working in a rehabilitation environment
  • Other suitable combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated effective decision making, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00

**Working Conditions**

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
