Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Planner at Scotiabank, you will be responsible for delivering trusted financial advice to customers regarding complex investment and retirement planning.

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews for assigned customers, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning.
  • Develop customized financial strategies and solutions using financial planning skills.
  • Build relationships with customers, peers, and partners to provide a great client experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and grow long-standing relationships with existing customers.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum three years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
  • Demonstrated sales management experience and the ability to market Scotiabank.
  • The ability to cultivate strong relationships with customers, peers, and partners.
  • Successfully completed the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or Bank recognized equivalent).
