Company OverviewThe Eastern Townships School Board is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to students, parents, and educators.
Salary$51,739 - $96,575 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to work with us. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing individualized education plans to support students' academic and social development;
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and challenges;
- Developing and implementing prevention and intervention strategies to promote student well-being;
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement educational programs;
- Providing consultation and guidance to teachers and parents on how to support students' learning and behavior.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A master's or doctoral degree in school psychology or a related field;
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting;
- Strong assessment and intervention skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
