We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fish Processing Plant Manager to join our team at Clearwater Seafoods LP. Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Scheduling
    • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular quality control inspections to identify and address any issues.
  • Inventory Management
    • Develop and implement inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of raw materials and finished products.
    • Monitor and adjust inventory levels as needed to prevent shortages and overstocking.
  • Employee Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and train employees on new equipment, production techniques, and company policies.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair

    • Provide regular reports to management on production performance, quality issues, and employee development.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as food science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a fish processing or seafood industry management role.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Knowledge of food safety and quality regulations.
    • Experience with inventory management and control systems.
