At Medicentres Canada Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Programs Coordinator Assistant to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an entry-level position that reports to the Centralized Programs Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and physicians through the operation of centralized programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and send referrals to internal and external specialists, diagnostic testing sites, and hospitals.
  • Attach appropriate clinical information to referrals prior to sending.
  • Notify patients of their appointments and any special instructions via telephone or mail.
  • Track outstanding referrals and follow up on pending referrals within recommended timeframes.
  • Handle third-party requests for patients and physicians.
  • Provide friendly and effective communication with all clinic staff, physicians, and patients.
  • Meet daily targets provided by the Centralized Programs Manager.

About You:

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in a Medical Office Assistant position.
  • You have experience with Med Access software, preferably.
  • You possess excellent customer service skills.
  • You can handle confidential information in compliance with regulated guidelines.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, and other languages are an asset.
