Job Description

We are seeking an individual who can efficiently clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat, wrap and package prepared meats, and remove bones from meat.

You will also be responsible for cutting poultry into parts, cleaning and preparing fish and shellfish, cutting fish into steaks and fillets, grinding meats, slicing cooked meats, and preparing special orders.

Equipment and Machinery Experience

We use manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines in our shop. As a Meat Processing Specialist, you should have experience with these types of equipment.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods and attention to detail. You must be able to work effectively in a busy shop and meet the physical demands of the job.

Experience

We offer on-the-job training, so no prior experience is required. However, a permanent position with 35 hours per week is offered to the successful candidate. The working language is English.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and industry standards. Benefits include opportunities for career growth and professional development.
