Job Title: Advanced Process Control Specialist

About the Role:

Dexcent is seeking an experienced Advanced Process Control Specialist to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining advanced process control systems to optimize industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot APCs to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop and implement new APC solutions and maintain existing applications
  • Train operators and other stakeholders on APC procedures
  • Analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Support software and hardware upgrades related to APC equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience with OSIsoft PI Historian and Honeywell Experion PKS
  • Expertise in process controllers, third-party PLC/devices integration, and industrial communication protocols
  • Strong networking skills and experience with fault-tolerant Ethernet
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience
