As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support our mission of providing affordable housing to families in need.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to meet annual goals and objectives
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit major donors and corporate partners to support our mission
- Collaborate with the VP, Marketing, Communications & Philanthropy and CEO to develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy
- Lead, mentor, and inspire fundraising and event management professionals to achieve shared priorities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation reports to donors and stakeholders on the impact of their contributions
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience in fund development and donor relations
- Proven track record of securing major sponsors, donors, and grants
- Strong management experience with effective leadership and team management skills
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Knowledge of Canadian philanthropic and not-for-profit environment
Habitat for Humanity Manitoba is a non-profit organization that brings communities together to help families build strength, stability, and independence through affordable homeownership. We have been serving families in Manitoba since 1987 and have built over 500 homes in the province and Kenora, Ontario.
