About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Three Hills Health Centre. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of healthcare services in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide range of nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making to deliver patient-centered care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
- Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Proficiency in relevant technical nursing skills and a willingness to learn new skills as required.
- Ability to work shift work and meet physical demands of the job.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year within the last two years' Emergency Department experience.
- One year within the last two years' Labor & Delivery experience.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) Certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification.
- Cardiac Arrest Management Advanced (CAM-A) and Cardiac Arrest Management Basic (CAM-B) Certifications.
