Director, Artificial Intelligence at Lenovo

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our AI Governance program, ensuring the responsible development and deployment of AI projects across Lenovo.

About the Role

The Director, AI Governance will report into the Chief Security & AI Officer and play a critical role in developing the AI Governance Program strategy for the Lenovo Enterprise. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing AI governance initiatives and collaborating with developers, IT teams, information and product security teams, the product diversity organization, and global legal and government relations teams.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive AI governance framework, including policies, procedures, standards, and best practices suitable for a global technology company.
  • Providing leadership for the Lenovo AI Committee, reviewing and approving baseline responsible AI standards, and identifying potential ethical, legal, and reputational risks associated with AI use.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of proven industry experience in developing and implementing policy frameworks, particularly in the technology or data protection realm. A Bachelor's Degree in IT, cybersecurity, data governance, legal or related field is required.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, cybersecurity, data governance, legal or related field
  • 15+ years of proven industry experience in developing and implementing policy frameworks
  • Strong understanding of ethical considerations and potential risks associated with AI
  • Experience managing complex projects and demonstrating exceptional business judgment
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks independently
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
