Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at MCM-D'Lusso Construction. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimating: Prepare estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects, including preparation of master format estimates (Class A).
  • Computer Skills: Operate CADD and other computer software systems, including spreadsheet software such as MS Excel.
  • Communication: Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
  • Documentation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
