Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout and at the end of each shift.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure all employees are aware of their responsibilities related to food safety, legality, and quality.
  • Timely Arrival and Preparation: Arrive on time, bringing all necessary tools to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Recipe Execution: Scale ingredients accurately according to current formulas and review mixing schedules.
  • Ingredient Management: Assist with loading ingredients into the mixer, ensuring timely completion of batters, and preventing downtime between batches.
  • Quality Control: Document variances to formulas, report to Leadhand and Supervisor, and maintain accurate records of ingredients used and lot numbers.
  • Area Maintenance: Ensure the scaling and mixing area remains neat and clean, with regular thorough cleaning scheduled for weekly prescale areas.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Basic Math Skills: Complete (minimum) Grade 12 education or equivalent, with basic math skills.
  • Adaptability and Accuracy: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy to keep up with the production process.
  • Safety Awareness and Training: Trained on operation of electric pump truck, GMP, and safety awareness.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge: Familiarity with computer systems.
Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
