Deli Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deli Clerk to join our team at Northlands Food Store. As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, and sandwiches. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized deli area, as well as providing excellent customer service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve deli products, including meats, cheeses, and sandwiches
- Maintain a clean and organized deli area
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers
- Restock deli products as needed
- Operate a cash register and process transactions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a deli or food service environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
The Deli Clerk will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions. The Deli Clerk will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. The Deli Clerk will also be required to work in a cold environment, as the deli area is refrigerated.
